Landgasthof Erdmannshöhle in Hasel

So I can only say, keep it up ... it was really great and super nice here. The food is great and delicious, I could have hung on for an hour while sleeping. Breakfast, very good and plentiful. All in all, well worth a vacation.

Very nice rooms, very friendly staff and beautiful landscape. What I was missing, however, is a trash can. But that could be described as complaining at a high level. I was in the book room and found the decoration inventive. And the bathroom was nice and modern too.

The old house has been lovingly restored, even if the entire building structure no longer looks as it is shown on the website. The differently designed rooms are imaginative. The booked menu selection was a bit meager, as there was no selection in the actual sense, but a daily special. This was prepared excellently by hand. The service was extremely friendly and courteous. The star deduction is there for the pretense of false facts. The room shown with a whirlpool function prompted me to book. The finding that the nozzles in the bathtub were not working was commented on by the fact that this was known (!), But the repair would have to wait until the next renovation, which is why the name 'bathtub' had been chosen. The surcharge called for these 'special rooms' was still charged, although there was no other special feature compared to the other theme rooms. What definitely cannot wait until the next renovation is the stairwell. By the way, there is no elevator! The extremely unpleasant smell there, was it from the toilets in the basement? Fortunately, this smell didn't penetrate the buffet room. It is probably due to the Corona crisis that there was almost only packaging food. I can only give a recommendation for our booked room with one further restriction. There is no space for luggage. At least not for 2 people. The existing cupboard is enough for 1 person. There was an office table for filing. No drawers or other storage options. Neither do bedside cabinets, just open shelves. In the bathroom there wasn't even a space for a toothbrush or soap. Apparently the hotel is primarily intended for travelers who are leaving after one night. The 'Moonlight' room has probably taken up so much space with the installation of the 'whirlpool tub' that it just wasn't enough for more. One suggestion on my part would be to just add a few more hooks to at least accommodate bathrobes and bath towels. You also have to bring your own bathrobes. It takes a lot of imagination to relate the room price to the performance. I decided not to take pictures of the dung heap opposite.

Just wanted to have wine with my husband on the terrace at the end of our running tour. Sadly impossible. Not a single guest available but "just drinking" is not possible in this location. Complimented very unfriendly. Never again. We will never enter this place again.

Thursday is the BBQ night. Super tasty and extensive with many salads, fish and meat.

Cozy, friendly and welcoming restaurant. We haven't been able to resist this super kitchen for years. All wishes are fulfilled. Very friendly and nice staff. Stay as you are, keep it up!

Tipical black forest restaurant, very kind service good food based on local ingredients and a simple but sincere red wine...

Wow, very good stay! Nice room, good beds and good walk-in shower. The food is really delicious. Good chef. And the owner responds well to the guests with a large dose of human knowledge and humor, and worked on our adolescents 🙂. I can highly recommend Erdmannshole and would like to come back!

Very relaxed and nice staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Not very big but, but enough space to sleep, chill and shower what else would u wanna do in a hotel room?
